Christmas!

Ryan woke up around 7:45 and Grayson shortly after. We hung out upstairs for a little bit and then decided to head downstairs to see what Santa left! Since Gigi and Papa were on their way the boys had to wait to open gifts.
They were so excited to see what Santa left them!

The scooters were a BIG hit! Thanks Santa!

Grasyon decided to take a break and ride Macy...

We decided to let them peek in their stockings while we waited...
Toothbrushes! Yay!

Gigi and Papa arrived and the gift opening began!

Santa was quite sassy this year - and crafty too! Yes, those are glitter embossed tags...Santa was proud of him/herself for being so prepared this year (it may never happen again).

In true child fashion Grayson played with his toys as he opened them...

Working on opening his gift!

After opening gifts and playing inside the boys wanted to play on their new playset! This was our gift to them. Grayson LOVES the slide and Ryan LOVES the glider! So much fun!

Since it was so nice outside we decided to take the scooters for a spin. We rode them down to the Hales house to say hi!

Lots of fun with cousins!

We came back home and had a lunch on our new play set! The boys love the picnic table. Kevin, Steven and I celebrated with some mimosas (that I forgot about earlier!)

Once lunch was gobbled up we headed inside for naps! I even got a great one - wohoo!

When the boys woke up it we headed over to Gigi and Papa's house for round two!

Lots of wonderful gifts! I love my new Ugg slippers - they are so comfy! Gigi and Papa got Ryan and Grayson a new sand table (to go under their playset) - so fun!

After gifts we had a delicious Christmas dinner!
So yum!

So lucky to have such wonderful family to spend these special holidays with. Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve afternoon we headed to church with the Hales and McDonoughs. The McDonough's church has a family service that works out perfectly for all of us.
Ryan and Grayson did surprisingly well for the hour - Ethan even took Ryan and Audrey up to the front to drop off their donations! Big kids! Ryan was so proud.

After church we headed back to our house for some brats & tamales. Yes, such a random combination but no one could decide what they wanted so we had both.

The brats were from Kuby's and the Tamales from Luna's - everything was delicious!!! After we ate we decorated some cookies!

And after Ryan decorated his he wanted to eat it...so he did.

We had a lot left for Santa!

Sarah took Ryan and Audrey outside to leave some food out for the reindeer!

Soon everyone headed home and we got the boys ready for bed.  Ryan and I read listened to The Night Before Christmas, a book that his Pro Yiayia and Papu recorded in their voices for him. It's so fun to hear and he loved it!

After the story we set out some milk and cookies for santa and Ryan headed up to bed

Once Kevin had the boys tucked away, Santa came....

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care...

And Santa's gifts were wrapped in red!
Luckily we didn't have any assembling to do so we were able to relax and watch a movie!

Vassilaros Family Christmas Weekend

We had such a great time with my family and I know the boys missed everyone when they left!
Grayson is a HUGE fan of Macy and tried to ride her multiple times. She is so sweet and puts up with all of his riding, pulling, hitting and climbing...

Ryan LOVED having both Uncles around...they loved to spoil him with attention

Uncle Steve and Grayson getting some reading in as well

And a little reading with Uncle Nick too

Papu even fried us a turkey  - out in the FREEZING cold! We had a yummy Christmas dinner (a few days before Christmas).

And check out T photo-bombing him.

Ryan with Uncle Nick and Yiayia

Me and my brothers...they make me look short!

Sweet little G and his daddy...and a little slobber.

Me and my mom - the best mom in the world!

Ice cream sundae bar! YUM!

Reading a book with Uncle Nick (and Bob)

So happy to have them all in town!

Christmas Eve Eve

Growing up our Christmas Eve tradition was to make homemade pizza. It takes some work but it's fun and always worth it! This year my parents were headed to Florida on Christmas Eve so we decided to celebrate it a day early.
Papu is the official pizza dough prep-per.

I am a fan of this picture not only because it demonstrates his skills but you can also see his fancy footwear - flip flops and socks. He really isn't a fan of the cold weather! lol

Grayson and Uncle Steve watching

And daddy and Ryan stealing some pepperoni

Both of the boys LOVED the pizza (as did the rest of us).

Even Bob got special treatment. Well, not because it was Christmas Eve Eve but because he had been sick all day.  He was actually quite enjoyable because he didn't beg for food at all....

After dinner Grayson decided to kick up his feet and relax

And then we opened GIFTS! We only did this because we decided to celebrate Christmas with my parents and brothers before they left...so we only opened gifts to and from them. It was so much fun and the boys loved everything!

And Nick posted this cute little video titled "Professional Present Modeler" on Instagram: http://instagram.com/p/iSQGuzwhrX/

Ryan was really loving unwrapping all the gifts - he helped everyone with theirs. Grayson enjoyed it as well, but he wasn't nearly as fast as his brother.
Ryan loved his Doctor dress up costume and Grayson loved his new Dusty the airplane ride-on toy! After seeing how excited Ryan was to open gifts I knew that Christmas morning would not disappoint!
