35 weeks

How far along? 35 weeks and four days

Total weight gain/loss? 24lbs+

Baby size:  Baby measured at 5lbs 10 oz (almost the size Ryan was when he was born!)

Exercise: Not so much lately

Maternity clothes? Yes, and I can't wait to get back into some normal clothes...mainly because I will have more options. I have just been wearing the same things over and over and over again....

Stretch marks? Still good here but still have some time left! eek!

Sleep: Still waking up 3 or 4 times for the bathroom. Otherwise I think I sleep like a rock and don't move an inch...seriously...rolling over is a monumental effort at this stage - it doesn't really happen in my sleep anymore.

Miss anything: Being able to do things without completely 

Movement: Pretty active little baby still- mainly at night when I am trying to go to bed!

Food cravings: I have been going through grapes like nobody's business. 

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope

Have you started to show yet: Yup

Gender predication: Going with boy...especially after today's sonogram pic! I think the little face shot below looks like a little brother for Ryan!

Labor signs: Nothing really. I feel great...pretty sure I am going to end up being induced on my due date (Sept 15) which I am actually totally ok with! I need the extra time!!!

Symptoms: Heartburn, exhaustion and the back pain has started up again.

Wedding rings on or off? Keeping them off because I am scared they are going to get stuck on my fingers and cut of circulation! haha

Belly button in or out? Out

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!

I'm back!

Yikes! So it's been a while since I made an update. I will go ahead and blame work and my great computer fiasco of 2010 for that – hopefully it won’t happen again!! Anyhow, I am now 13 weeks and the word is OUT! Yay! It’s so fun to tell everyone because its soooo hard to keep it in! Plus I am actually already starting to get a little belly!! It's still very small but definitely just showed up over the weekend. So the latest and greatest on baby McDonough. Kevin and I went to the doctor on Tuesday morning for genetic screening. Like all appointments in the first trimester it was pretty nerve racking – I was so excited to go an be able to see the baby again, but then the other side of you worries that you might get bad news. This appointment was a little more nerve racking in the beginning because you see a genetic counselor before seeing the doctor. She walked us though what they would be looking for and what possible outcomes we could expect. The good news is that everything went perfect. We were able to see the baby’s heartbeat for the first time too! So fun! The little baby was moving around so much which is so weird since I can’t feel anything!! I have two pics from the ultrasound as well as links to the video of the appointment. They gave me a DVD which could not be uploaded to my computer (trust me I tried everything and even got our IT people involved) so I had to make a very bootleg copy by playing it on my TV at home and recording it. Enjoy!!
