22 weeks

How far along? 22 weeks 1 Days
Total weight gain/loss? I probably gained 5lbs while on vacation so who knows at this point! lol!
Baby size: Baby weighs approximately one pound and is around 11 inches (babycenter.com)
Maternity clothes? Still mostly regular clothes but they are starting to get really uncomfortable
Exercise: No official workouts, but we did a lot of bike riding and walking...oh and stair climbing while in Rosemary.
Stretch marks? Apparently this is the week when stretch marks could start...so far so good.
Sleep: Didn't sleep that great in Rosemary, but that might have just been because it wasn't home.
Best moment this week: Our entire vacation. Ryan LOVED the beach...just like his momma! So fun to see him playing in the sand and loving the ocean.
Miss anything:  A drink on the beach...drinking on vacation in general...this summer is going to be LONG
Movement:  Lots and lots of baby kicks
Food cravings: Reece's Peanut butter cups....and ice cream. My sweet tooth has definitely kicked it up a notch.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Thankfully no!
Have you started to show yet: Yup!
Gender predication: ?
Labor signs: No
Symptoms: Lot of lower back pain...and I think carrying Ryan around does not help this at all.
Belly button in or out? Well it's no longer in, but it's not sticking out...we will go with "flat"
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Dr. appointment this Tuesday to see little bug #2

Project 366 - week 19

Although I was on Instagram before our trip to Rosemary beach - I am now a fanatic. I love it. It's so easy to share pics with my family so now it is one of my favorite apps! Both my parents and Kevin's mother have joined so they can see pictures as soon as I take them - which is so much easier than me texting/emailing a pic every time. I love it - so if you have any interest in seeing ton of pictures of the little bug, follow me, I'm mnmcdonough

Sunday, May 6: Made it to the beach - Ryan loves the sand!
Monday, May 7: Bumpin up and down in his little red wagon...oh and eating some ice.
Tuesday, May 8: Hanging on the beach with mommy!
Wednesday, May 9: Playing in the sand with Caroline
Thursday, May 10: Kevin with his red snapper
Friday, May 11: Taking some pics on the swing
Saturday, May 12: Ryan playing in the park before heading back to Dallas

Monday, April 30: A trip to the arboretum with Yiayia T
Tuesday, May 1: No actual picture taken this day so I borrowed this one from the picnic lunch we had at the arboretum. I took his shirt off so he could fully enjoy his watermelon...it's so darn messy!
Wednesday, May 2: Getting the wiggles out before story time at the Nature and Science Museum
Thursday, May 3: R loves the ducks and turtles at North Park
Friday, May 4: Queso at Chuy's!
Saturday, May 5: Managed to miss this day as well...we arrived in Rosemary Beach - beautiful!

Weekend Wrap Up

This weekend my parents came to visit - it use to be a short trip from Houston but since they now live in Indonesia it was quite a special treat for us! My dad was only in the US for three days so we are so happy he was able to make a quick trip up to Dallas. They drove up from Houston on Friday afternoon and Ryan was so excited to see them! When we walked in the house he was all smiles - he says Pa for Papu and Ya for Yiayia - so cute!

Friday night we grilled out and had a yummy steak dinner while Ryan ran around and showed off all his tricks. After Ryan headed to bed we celebrated my dad's birthday with a cake from Society Bakery - delish!
Yiayia reading a book to Ryan before bed.

Papu and his birthday cake

Saturday morning we woke up and headed over to the Katy Trail to get a little walk in. The weather was amazing and we walked down to Company Cafe for some brunch...Ryan enjoyed walking on the trail!

As you can see Ryan loves his Papu - he wanted to hold his hand or sit in his lap all weekend long.

Papu actually had to leave to head back to Indonesia Saturday night but Ryan had so much fun with him. So glad he was able to come and visit. We hope to see him again in August but if not he should be back in September for at least three weeks.

Saturday evening Kevin and I headed to a wedding and Ryan got to stay home with Yiaya and Papu.
Table 14 with the bride!

Shannon, Nat & myself at Nikki's wedding

We also took some fun pictures in the photo booth...

We didn't really have plans for Sunday until my friend Nat texted me and told me about an event that was taking place at the Shops at Park Lane...so we headed up there. It was so much fun! There were bounce houses (although Ryan isn't really a fan...at all), food trucks, fire trucks and a helicopter!

Apparently Ryan is digging socks...he wanted to rock his crocs with socks-->sweet!

Check out the PINK fire truck with this adorable Dalmatian! Such a sweet little doggy!

Yummy food trucks! We tried Easy Sliders, Ruthies Rolling Cafe & Trailer Cakes - YUM!

Ryan opted for a kids Zbar instead...and decided to get comfy.

Checking out a police car

And hanging out in the fire truck

Playing with bubbles that he got from Trailer Cakes!

Dancing up a storm listening to the live music.

You would think that after all this excitement he would have taken a long nap...well, that didn't happen. Little man decided he didn't need a nap....Oh well. For dinner we headed up to Grimaldi's and Grandma met us as well. Ryan was so exhausted (since he missed his nap) and he fell asleep on the way home - such a sweet little boy! Love love love him! We had a great weekend and are so grateful that we were able to spend time with family!
